Rond 2 2012 Finale Pics Had a Ball

Last weekend i ventured over to perth for Round 2 Finale and had an absolute ball.  Its a chance for us all to get glamed up and treat ourselves after all the hard work we have put in over the 12 weeks.  First id like to thank Tania de Rossi for organising the group hair and makeup even on Saturday Afternoon it was great sitting there drinking champaign and catching up with other 12weekers.  Then back to my hotel with my lovely daughter to get frocked up and of we go. From there its history. Danced and drank the night away. Presentation was one of the proudest moments of my life.  My daughter baby tough mudder not only won by changing her life this round but she took out the overall transformation title. My husband and i stood there crying a moment i will never forget. ( actually brings tears to my eyes everytime i think of it) You just have to watch the video below and you will know what i mean

  1. Hi there! Just wanted to stop by your blog and firstly congratulate you and your daughter for the wonderful results you have and are still achieving.

I also wanted to say thank you for a post you recently wrote in the 12wbt forum. As I wrote my own blogpost tonight I thought about your post and what it meant to me about the whole chipping away at the weight, no matter how small the loss. So I remembered your words and didn't let it do my head in. :-)

  2. hi carol thank you so much for your kind words. This is so much a mental journey as it is a physicl one. every gram of is a gram closer to your goal. In round one i would jump up and down like anutter ever if i lost 100grams. because 100 of is better than 100 on. Good luck with this round andjust chip away

I saw this post yesterday and just love everything about it. It goes with everything i believe. This journey is forever and it has to be sustainable. Its forever. I am also a massive believer that you cannot out train a bad diet. A bit of chocolate on Easter Bunny day is not going to set back your goals unless you go on a long weekend hot cross buns and easter egg binge. Also i doubt if you would put on 2 or 3 kg for having a couple of eggs or hot cross buns if you are training the right way and you have built a healthy metabolism. I believe that we need to enjoy special days as long as we keep them in to days and not extend them into weeks and months. (The time of year has come where Facebook is flooded with posts about how much sugar chocolate has, how many calories your favourite Easter egg has, and how long it's going to take to burn it off. Of course, it's a great idea for our health not to consume too much added sugars in our die...
