TOUGH MUDDER DIARY

My old clothing haunt was City Chic size Large and XLarge.  At the start of this round I made a promise to myself that I would not purchase my Finali dress from city chic.  I have always loved forever new but only ever purchased shoes, bags and accessories from there. Well deal done today I purchased my Finali Dress and it has a forever new tag. Yippee.What makes it even better is that at the start of this round I  thought I would be wearing a size 16 from Forever New but would be happy with that. Well today i blew that thought out of the water. I have a size 12 dress from Forever New.  Started this journey wearing size 22. I can't get my head around the fact that I had just purchased such a small size.   Woo Hoo Happy Dance For Me

Well on Saturday I achieved a personal goal that i have been working hard towards since Christmas.  I competed in the Tough Mudder Challenge in Phillip Islands and absolutely had a ball.  We walked / ran 20 kilometers and had to climb push pull crawl and jump through 26 obstacles.  It was one of the most sensational experiences and a part of my journey that I will never forget. I would like to say a hugh thank you to my team mates for all of their support before the big day and also on the day.  We had the largest team entered with a total of 64 very supportive individuals. The motivation, encouragement and belief in me during the challenge was sensational.  I would also like to send lots of love to my hubby who has been my rock during this whole journey. What an experience of a life time. Three wonderful bootcamp buddies and myself got the experience of a life time last Tuesday when we flew to sydney and Trained with the biggest Loser Top 8 contestants and trainers.  We were in front row and had an absolute ball.  The four of us even got on stage and did burpees.  Then we stayed and Skye's House . Skye is a 12 weeker that we had been chatting to on facebook that we had not even met before.  She opened her heart and home to us and made us feel so welcome.
