THERES NO SUCH WORD AS CANT

Through out the last round one of my fab sayings was theres no such word as CAN'T when  ever i said i can't my training buddy Helen would say Hydes (thats what she calls me) you  said theres no such word. It kept me going when i thought i couldn't go any more. Today i  heard this add and just loved it and had to share it with all my 12wbt family. Hope you use it  like i did There's a four lettered word As offensive as any It holds back the few Puts a stop to the many. You can't climb that mountain You can't cross the sea You can't become anything you want to be. He can't hit a century They can't find a cure. She can't think about leaving or searching for more. Because can't is a word with a habit of stopping The ebb and flow of ideas It keeps dropping itself where we know in our hearts it's not needed And saying "don't go" when we could have succeeded. But those four little letters That end with a T They can chan
Saturday night would have had to be one of the most amazing evenings of my life. To share the evening with a venue full of so many positive and happy people was nothing but sensational. I never imagined 7 months ago that I would have won 12wbt overall. But 7 months ago there were lots of things i would not have imagined I would have been able to achieve. i stumbled through my first round of 12wbt, found my feet and got grounded. Still loosing 24 kilos. then i went to finale in Sydney in December 2011. I said to Julie my trainer after presentation Julie next finale i want to be on stage. I don't care if I don't win I just want to be up there. That was my goal for Round 1 this year a goal i never thought i would achieve. I had to become the most mentally strong person i could to achieve that goal. I found strength i didnt even know i had and my favourite word became no. No i don't want that pizza, no i'm not going to stay in bed cause its raining no no no. Since
Just playing around with my before and after pics and thought I would share these with my fellow 12wbters.  In such a short time my ife has changed in so many ways that i cant explain.  The realisation of how i have transformed in just two rounds hit me today when i put these pics together. OMG I JFDI. and loved every minute of it.

The End Is Here

Well my 2nd Round of 12wbt done and dusted woo hoo. The last 12 weeks have changed my life both physcally and mentally. I have changed in every aspect of my life. Id like to say firstly sorry to my family and my house for putting them on hold for 12 weeks. For the first time in my life i have put myself first (a tad selfish but so worth it). But i had to do it to make the best version of myself and here it is. I can now have the quality of life that we all deserve, I have gone from a size 22 to a size 12 I have gone from a bra size 20dd to 12b i can now cross my legs I have lost nearly a total of half of myself in weight While on this journey I have not only found myself but I have also found some wonderful new life long friends. Thank you so much Mish and the 12wbt team for changing mine and my families lives. http://youtu.be/KlIDNrTWXvo

LAST CHANCE TRAINING

Today some of my wonderful mates from bootcamp came with me for a bit of a last chance training. We walked 11kms in the rain from Belgrave to Emerald and I wore Julies weight vest. It was only 10kg weight vest and to think that I used to carry around more that 5 of these vests everyday.  We had a fantastic afternoon together, It was a great practice for this weekends puffing billy fun run.

RELAY FOR LIFE

RELAY FOR LIFE On Saturday My Hubby and  I did our first relay for life at Albert Park Lake and what a fantastic weekend with some wonderful people we had. We started walking at 10am Saturday and finished at 10am Sunday.  During the time I walked a total of 37 Kilometers, It was all for a good cause. I found parts of the weekend very emotional for it was to raise money for people we have lost to cancer and also to the survivors. This will be one of many now that i have totally changed my life.
