I saw this post yesterday and just love everything about it. It goes with everything i believe. This journey is forever and it has to be sustainable. Its forever. I am also a massive believer that you cannot out train a bad diet.

A bit of chocolate on Easter Bunny day is not going to set back your goals unless you go on a long weekend hot cross buns and easter egg binge.

Also i doubt if you would put on 2 or 3 kg for having a couple of eggs or hot cross buns if you are training the right way and you have built a healthy metabolism.

I believe that we need to enjoy special days as long as we keep them in to days and not extend them into weeks and months.

(The time of year has come where Facebook is flooded with posts about how much sugar chocolate has, how many calories your favourite Easter egg has, and how long it's going to take to burn it off.
Of course, it's a great idea for our health not to consume too much added sugars in our diet. However, all these posts do is create fear around food and misconceptions about what it means to eat and train for our health (physically and mentally).

Eat your favourite chocolate this weekend without guilt, without fear, and without the need to wake up the next morning and "undo" the chocolate eating.)
Happy Easter

Weekend With The Girls

Two weeks ago i went to brisbane to a cow boy themed wedding with two of my special friends. What a hoot. But who would have imagined 6 months ago that i would ever pic a costume to wear like this one
Just amazing i still have to pinch myself now and then. When my girlfriend chose our outfits i said no way. But on the night i loved the outfit and cant believe i wore the same size as my skinny girlfriends. When i got home i started comparing my before and after pics with this one and this is what i came up with.
This weekend away was not only a normal weekend away for me. I got so much out of it. I found the new me and felt so confident something that i had not felt in a long time.  I would never imagined ever wearing anything like this. Thank you so much #michelle bridges.  i am now living and not just existing.
