When you go on holiday your 12wbt plan shouldn't





Last weekend I went away on an amazing weekend and stayed on track .  When going on holidays your diet doesnt need to go on a diet either. You dont need to let your diet slip.   We all put a lot of hard work into our clean eating and exercise regime so we cant let a few days break set us back.


If you plan your camp diet right making sure your food intake is pre organised then being out enjoying nature should not be a reason to run of the rails. It all comes back to being organised like a boy scout be prepared.  I just got back from 4 days fwd in the snow  bbbrrr it was freezing.  Some tips i did to be organised. I pre organised my dinners in tupperware containers and froze them before hand. So i just had to grab them out of the esky and heat on the campfire.  pumpkin bean curry/ Penang Chicken and bunless burgers yummo.

Because we had a long weekend with lots of outdoor activities included the first meal of the day had to be packed full of energy. So for breaky I had porriage. How things have changed going back 6 months ago it would have been a couple of egg bacon cheese sandwiches for breaky. Now its 50grams of porriage and a tub of soliel yoghurt while camping.


Morning Tea was a banana they have healthy sugar and fats which helps me feel fuller longer.

Lunch consisted of tuna and salad which is easy cause theirs no cooking. Also chicken walnut grape salad which is my favourite. I took little snap lock bags of precooked chicken pieces which makes it also a non cooking lunch.

I find that tuna for lunch is full of good muscle food which helps get me thru to dinner.


An old camping habit was chocolate self saucing pudding in a can boiled on campfire with custard. Whoppa calories.  Everybody this weekend had this while i found nestle dairy dessert soleil diet chocolate mouse on 62 calories. So i didnt feel like i was missing out. ( but must watch the sodium levels are quite high)

What do you do to be organised before going on holidays.

ps also me and my girlfriend did some burpees in the snow. I thought they were hard on the sand at bootcamp but knee high in snow is nearly impossible

Round 4 2013 Wrap Up Qland You Rock

Well on Friday we were all pumped for our weekend in Brisbane and what a weekend it was.  Queensland crew you ROCK. You guys and girls showed of your city and all its awesomeness.  I loved every minute of my weekend in Brissy. From the minute I arrived and one of your lovely member Tracey English picked three of us up at the airport and drove us straight to our hotel door. To the Margie workout which was so much fun. I think i found a new friend with Margie just sayin lol.

Your entrance into the finale was just sensational.  So much hard work was put into organising all those little bits. So well done Queensland Crew.

I loved Mishes workout on Saturday. The vibe in the room was awesome. A little brag now the best part for me was my personal best. Winning the planking mini challenge 11 min and 05 sec. (who does that) I actually learn from the mini challenge a really good lesson and this is that yourmind is so much stronger than you think. I had a time in my head to beat last years winn…

Weekend With The Girls

Two weeks ago i went to brisbane to a cow boy themed wedding with two of my special friends. What a hoot. But who would have imagined 6 months ago that i would ever pic a costume to wear like this one
Just amazing i still have to pinch myself now and then. When my girlfriend chose our outfits i said no way. But on the night i loved the outfit and cant believe i wore the same size as my skinny girlfriends. When i got home i started comparing my before and after pics with this one and this is what i came up with.
This weekend away was not only a normal weekend away for me. I got so much out of it. I found the new me and felt so confident something that i had not felt in a long time.  I would never imagined ever wearing anything like this. Thank you so much #michelle bridges.  i am now living and not just existing.
